A 1-on-1 workshop for photographers looking to improve their craft, find direction in their work and move towards a unique visual language. In this session, I will be offering an in-depth reading of your work — we will look through your unique strengths as a photographer, the ideas and feelings you are inspired by and uncover the path that leads you to your distinct identity as a photographer / artist.
This workshop will cover the following:
- I’ll be offering specific notes on your work after an in-depth reading — we will talk about the images that stand out, what makes them work and where you might be holding back.
- Making your inner world visible / We will be looking at the underlying themes in your work — subjects you are drawn to over and over again, patterns and ideas that keep showing up, or a way of seeing that’s starting to come through.
- Together, we’ll also look at what really moves you as a photographer and how you can lean into that to move towards a unique visual language and a distinct creative identity.
- This will also be a space to turn over questions related to your own process together, and to talk about challenges that you face in your creative journey in bringing to life the images you want.
